The trail from Mt. Field to Willey is about a mile and not too difficult. I remember lots of ferns along the way which made for a nice wilderness experience. The true summit of Willey is marked with a small rock pile that was rather hard to find. |

The summit of Willey is totally wooded, but just before the summit there is a rock outcropping with a nice view into the Pemi. |
